Built on Real Business Experience, Not Just Ad Accounts
I studied marketing at university and while most students were keeping their heads down in textbooks, I wanted to actually apply what I was learning. So I started building e-commerce stores - dropshipping, print on demand, selling physical products online. I was running my own Google and Meta ads before I ever worked in a professional marketing role.
That experience changed how I think about paid media. I wasn't just learning how to set up campaigns - I was learning what it actually costs to acquire a customer, how margins work, what makes someone buy and what makes them leave. I understood the business pressure behind every dollar spent on ads because I was spending my own money.
That led me into professional paid media roles, working across campaigns at scale for businesses of different sizes and industries. Over time I built up experience managing significant ad budgets, working across every major platform and developing the systems and strategies that now underpin everything I do at Paid Media Australia.
What I bring to every client is that combination - someone who has run their own business and felt the pressure of ad spend, and someone who has managed campaigns at a professional level across hundreds of accounts. That's not a common combination.
